I searched for a term in google I got the Blog result in top 2. I heard that normally blogspot postings will be shown in Google Blog Search and not in the Google Search engines. Is it true or not?
I get most of my posts on this forum shown in a google search when I search for my domain like this: "mydomain.com".
Blogspot pages do get indexed in main google search, but it takes some time. And some pages have good rankings
who told you that blog post dont get indexed in google search? All of my blog post are indexed within 2 days..
Google will try and return the most relevant page. Blog search is a vertical search for blogs only, normal search - if it includes normal blogs, why not include blogspot? Surely that's the only fair way to judge. You can always use an advanced query to remove it if you don't want to search blogspot.
I don't see any problem with Google giving Blog sites some spots in their SERPs. After all Blogs are rich in information that could help other people as well.
I agree. There is no reason for this. That could be just shooting himself with his own gun for google
Hmm.. I didn't meant my post to be negative. I just want to share my idea about Blog Sites. As I see it, Blog sites are just like any other Websites, where in it just simplified the Content Management.
it not impossible for blogspot to get SERPs, as long as the content is fresh and unique. I'm not sure if using adwords can help much, but nothing impossible when 'contents is king'.
That's cool! You musta have a very good blog site to get a PR 5 within 1 month. I know you have worked really hard for it.
