how closely does google adsense pay attention to your website?

i have a website that caters to various topics, ranging from rants, to news, to music. i have adsense on all my pages. but what i've been considering is starting to put up adult based pages. if i don't include adsense on these pages, will i be alright? i don't want my domain or even my account terminated because of this.

    thanks in advanced!

well i'm trying to expand my site, build my userbase, give people what they want and give the something to talk about. topics of all categories. if i do this, i'd follow what i've been doing and use a subdomain. for example, i've been doing this. pizza.domain.com. so if i do an adult webpage, it'd be adult-something.domain.com

so i take it, it sounds like a bad idea?

anytime you put adult topics with adsense, it is a bad idea
i wouldnt risk getting my account banned for this kind of stuff.

However several big publishers have done that
    http://sexuality.about.com/

i guess it is all about the content of your adult topics

still, a fine line to thread on.

is about.com even using adsense? when loading the page i saw "loading adblade" or something similar. i think i heard or read something about adsense automatically reading and removing ads on pages that are based on keywords like "sexy" and other sexually explicit vocabulary words.

    Well you said:

So you should be OK... So as long as adsense is not on those pages you will be fine, i would use a sub domain as you said, perez Hilton is another who uses Adsense and Adult pages (on a sub domain)... You may need to have a warning page before they enter or leave your safe site to the adult one... I wouldn't go to extreme as there is no doubt a thin line to tread.

If you do decide to add adult related topics no one can stop you obviously as its your site, but Google can and will ban your account, they dont muck about and at the end of the day it all depends on how much you value you adsense account. That is the bottom line

not suggested. Adsense can considered that your website have bad neighbor although you not putting the adsense ads on that page. if you really want to try, bare your own risk

there's no content on your site. do you even apply for adsense using this site?
Probably banned for poor quality site - protect the advertisers from the low quality clicks.

imho, they don't ban your adsense for links trading ...
they will impose a serps penalization / deindex your site for that.

LoL and what else are you hiding... depends where you traded links really - you can't use traffic exchanges etc.

this is a no go btw.

It is clearly stated in the Programme Policies (under Content guidelines) that:
Sites with Google ads may not include or link to:
    Pornography, adult or mature content

You will need to keep unsuitable materials completely separate from the site with AdSense, i.e. on a totally different site.
    Code (markup):
just a heads up for any curious followers.

The Adsense Team is extremely strict but the biggest issue is that their customer service is not good and you are pretty much talking to robots. I would not take the risk to put adult content within the same site that has adsense. It is really not worth the risk. Believe me they will not hesitate to ban your account.

If you still want to have a blog about adult based content then it has to a totally separate site. Hope that helps =-)

I think, that virtual humans are watching websites, which makes it easier for them to find websites, where people try to trick Google. I am just saying, be always honest.
