    How Channel works?

Could someone explain it to me how Channels in adsense work? I never used it and maybe you are ready to tell it to a dummy. :)

Channels are to keep track of the performances of your adsense units.
It shows impressions, ctr, cpm and total earnings from the ad units assigned to that channel.

    I am agree with Abhik.

    also, it has "url channels"
For example, you will understand easily.

I set up custom channels for my adulu.com(forum), Adulu directory, Adulu exchange. we can know how much money i made from each custom channel.

for example I have 4 channel and each channel earning $1, Total is $4

also those channel all are from www.adulu.com domain name.

therefore we can know URL channel = $4(from www.adulu.com domain name of channels)

    today snapshot from instance
URL =0.23 is from custom's total

They are just to help you track whats going on, what's earning money - what's not.

Keep an eye on them when tweaking your site to see if it improves

Channels are used to track the performance of different ads. For example to track ads from 2 different websites. You can even use channels to track 2 different ads on the same page to see which one performs better!
