    Download the adwords editor.
Don't ever consider putting everything on broad match.

Broad match for all words is OK when you have factory that prints money.

    1) Let me get this right: Google puts everything by defalut in a broad match and then provides and interface that is virtually impossible to find how to change it?
    2) Even Madga can't tell me! Says, do it in Adwords editor.
So I think I'm going to pause the campaing until someone can walk me through this. Is this intentional by Google?

I was able to check one and change to phrase match, but it seems, unless someone tells me otherwise, I will either have to spend 1/2 hour these morning changing each keyword one by one -- all 100. or spend an hour downloading a software and learning how to use it's convoluted medicre interface. I highly double I'll figure it out with adwords editor on my own.

PS I have adwords editor for another account. this issue is with new account, my other account comes up in adwords editor, I don't see a way to change acconts there. Should I download another copy of adwords editor for the the account? Is this intentional on Googles part. That they defalt everything to broad match, and the interface is viturlaly impossible to figure out how to change all 100 keywords to phrase of exact match. I'm pausing the campagin till someone can help me. I'm so flustured.

might be quicker just to edit them , you probably could have done it in the time it took to write this thread.

When you open adwords editor, there is a button at the bottom of the pop-up box that says "add account".
Alternatively, when you're in adwords editor, click File, then Open Account, and there you'll get the box with the Add account button.

Once you've made the changes in Adwords Editor, you need to upload usine the "Post Campaigns" button at the top.

Magda, I got it done. thanks!
question: how do I copy keywords from one campaign to another. I 've been trying with adwords editor and I'm stumped. I've tried everything dragging, copying, pasting. I'm lost. I may have even delted the keywords that I'm trying to copy over. thanks! I can't succeed with this app --

Ye, broad keywords are fine if you have a ton of negative keywords to go with it. That's how I run most of my accounts.
