how can your website get benefits from effective content writing? Should i use exact keywords or keywords combinations (Keywords Pharses) in content writing? Meenka Pandita
Hi, it depends on the business that you are in but I tend to use keyword phrases that include the keywords that I want. Unless you are able to update your site alot I think phrases can give better results over the longer term. Dave
What's your overall goal? What's your competition? Who is your audience? Is the website for e-commerce, adsense publishing or the like, a squeeze page? There are many factors to look at; it isn't a one-size-fits-all.
Yeah you need to research and analyze on what your website exactly needs. For SEO purposes, you can have the targeted keywords in the articles with a good density. But do remember one thing, real humans are going to read your content so optimize for them too.
Use quality content that makes sense to a human and not one that necessarily ticks all the boxes re Keyword ratios. Actually the level of and concentration of keywords etc in the text plays a very minor part in a pages overall scoring nowadays. Gone are the days of keyword stuffing and repetition. Write for intelligent humans anbd you won't go far wrong
When people search for whatever it is they search for, they very rarely type in single keywords into the text box. They always use phrases of at least two or three words, like 'cheap airline flights' instead of just 'flights'. The more specific you can get, the better. But write naturally. Don't sound like you're just trying to have a certian number of usages of a given word. That turns readers off.
Effective writing increases your ranking on Google (brings the traffic to your site) while making it interesting to readers (traffic stays; people may like your website, and hence you get free promotions). If you just aim to keyword optimise your content while ignoring how readable it is, Google may rank it properly but people will not stay. The traffic will not last for long. Furthermore, Google is becoming more strict with articles, and they are starting to de-rank any websites/articles that don't make sense. Effective, keyword-rich content is the best way to increase traffic and keep it. I use both keywords and keyword phrases. I've seen the best results from this. Make sure not to keyword stuff, though.
if you are writing the content for your business then your content must be helpful and display your expertise over the subject. it must generate users' interest and curiosity to know more about your business thereby leaving long lasting impression.
I have excellent results with longer key word chains. I try not to go overboard with using the same words too often. Simply by mixing up the phrasing a bit, you'll end up with latent semantic key words.
