Hi, I am looking for a definitive way to verify a sites PR. Someone has asked me about one of my sites and indicated that the PR appears to be invalid. Does anyone know a way to prove PR is real? You help would be greatly apprecaited!
Hello, How are you? You can use this tool http://www.expireddomainup.com/domain-tools/fake-page-rank-detection.html Best
two of the most popular sites that users here on DP use are : http://www.digpagerank.com/ http://www.checkpagerank.net
the best way to manually check if PR is valid is to check the cache in Google. If the page is caching a different site than the url, it is fake.
try this one http://livePR.ezer.com/?livePR=on57.com on57.com [ Fake PR check summary: This site PR shall be a TRUE PR. Check the site info: to know where the PR came from. Result: The PR is from on57.com . ]
check site history by archive.org Internet Archive, and see the page changes. If page keep same/similar for more than half year, then PR is real
Thanks very much for your help! I didn't know how to defend against this as I know nothing about how to fake PR. Appreciate the help and support!
I am selling the site and someone was suggesting that the PR was invalid. I had never really heard of it before... but the issue seems to be settled now.
