How can you track IP of whoever clicked your Adsense?

    Hello

To try and fight click bombing, I would like to track the IP's of people who clicked my adsense ads. How can I do this, without tampering with the code (as it is against the TOS).

    Thanks!

I am using a counter by statcounter.com , it gives me the detailed info about the visitor and also shows the 'Exit Link' location. If you see repeated google link as exit link then you can note the IP of that particular user and ban it from accessing your site.

Well, Google Adsense or Analytics wont give you the IP address. You gotta use third party script tools for that.

I personally use Asrep and highly recommend that. Its more accurate than a lot.

    Thanks for the answers!

Cormar, you said you use asrep. I tried it once, but it somehow failed to track any clicks. Could it be because I used the 'old-style' Adsense code?

Also, do you use the payed version, or the free one?

Yeah you are right. Asrep is not 100% accurate. I use the free version. But it is picking up about 80% clicks. BTW I use old-style adsense code (like the one with all parameters).

It is useful in the sense that, one day i got click-bomb on ma site. But Asrep showed those clicks and the corresponding IP address. I could use this information to notify google about the same.

I don't think that is possible.
