How can you tell why someone was banned?

    I just bought something of someone and he was banned in between the time I bought it and sent the money, now can't receive PMs.

    How do I find out why he was banned. This does not make me feel 100% secure about the purchase.

    Any tips.

    The only way to do this (I believe) is to contact the member directly.

    Good luck

    Yea heres how itll happen

    Ryan = non banned user
    Bodgan = banned user

    Thats what'll happen when you go to talk to him on msn or email, no seriously every banned member blames the mods, as if their actions are opinionated...sheesh
    Rules are rules, mods are just following them..

    If hes banned, then he broke the rules:

    • Spamming
    • Bumping
    • Flaming other users
    • Running up post count
    • PM spam
    • Harassing/Attacking other members
    Simple as that.

    lol, its true though, but check the guy's profile and see if he uses any instant messengers or email address if there, thats a way of contacting him.

    Infractions can also make a member get banned and just for posting in the wrong forums, bear that in mind ;)

    It's ok, everything went fine with the transaction.

    He emailed me the reason he was banned. Makes sense. He copped it fair and square and wasn't complaining.

    Thanks for your assistance.
