    Create a Facebook page and invite your friends and have them invite their friends.
    -invite those that have tons of friends already and are well connected
    -provided good useful content on your page

    How about creating a press release as well as submitting articles with a link of your site on the resource box, in forum posting or blog commenting you must make sure that you post on forums or blog topics that are only related to your niche and make sure that you are contributing to the forum or blog topic in this way they won't consider your post as a spam comment.
