    Friends,
I use google analytics quite often, but i am still confused on how to juice out of google analytics... I can see impressions/search traffic and other things, but beside this to improve Search rankings what more can i do with google analytics to make it display/give more info regarding search patterns for my website... ?

Analytics gives practically every combination of data and metrics you could ask for - and if it's not presented in a standard report, you can use advanced segments and/or custom reports to configure the data how you want it.
You need to identify what questions you want to ask - do you want to know more about where geographically your traffic is coming from? Is it targeted? Are people using the search terms you expected them to? Are they coming at particular days of the week? Are there times of high interest when it would make sense to supplement your natural search with advertising?
And what about when they get to your site - do they follow the navigation you expect? Are there stop points? Are people finding all the pages you want them to?

Look at data from the following points of view. When, where, who, why and how.
    1. When: gives you an idea of the time when you could be getting traffic---weekend, weekday etc (very meaningful for deciding pay per click advertising patterns).
    2. Where : Geographical location (again useful for targeting pay per click ads)
    3. why: what/which pages are drawing attention.
    4. who : age composition (both for ads anc content creation)
    4. How: search engines, referrals, ezinearticle etc
Its possible to tweak your site once you know answers to these questions. For instance, you may have kid stuff on an inner page. If you notice, your visitors land on your site because of this component, maybe you could change the composition of the site to see if you can cater to young users.
Overall, if you approach any data (not only Google analytics) from the above point of view, you will find some meaningful answers which you can use to further finetune your project (site in this case)

Analytics is just Cool. But we just can feel the benefits of Analytics optimally if it combined with Adwords. Unfortunately, Adwords is not free.

It's probably just because you don't know how to use it yet. One of the main things is finding out how visitors got to your site. What keywords were used. Then you can target these keywords in your link building and on page SEO. Another big thing people use it for is to see how much traffic you get in case you end up selling the site or just to know for your self.
There are many, many useful tools. Just keep playing around with it and you will figure out the benefits over time.
