How can we show More than 3 ads in a Page?

Friends as per the adsense policies we cannot show adsense ads more than 3 banners in a page.
Then can anyone explian me this?
I have come accross a site showing 4 Banners.

You can have 4 as long as one of them is one of those 15 high link ones. Sometimes the ads don't show up if they are too close together btw.

Text link is not included in the 3 limit,

Secondly the last banner is the google referral banner,

So it has only three units,

I didn't know that you are limited to three. Does that include text links blocks?

 

Referral banners are included in 3 item limit. So that site is showing 5 ad blocks, but if what you say is true about text links, then it's still over by one with four.

 

I posted a question earlier about iframes, what if you show an extra one in an iframe, not to fraud but because it's in your CMS? I have a page with 1 link and 1 ad block but the iframe shows news items, I automatically have a small ad after a news items, three per page, so in the iframe COULD be 3 ads... would this count or is this a seperate html page thus no violation? The iframe is scrollable.

 

wow, that page has ads everywhere, that should be ilegal. More ads than content.

 

Referral does not count as a "legal" ad.

 

So the page is not violating the TOS, but you can feel the need for the clicks.
