Quality of content is what makes a visitor stay instead of bounce, but you don't have to worry much about it.

A high bounce rate tends to indicate that people don't like what they see when they get to a site or the reason they reached the site has not been fulfilled. Whilst wissam says don't worry, it's always good to try and reduce your bounce rate.

    How?

Well, you need to make sure that the design of your site is professional. If for any reason it looks amateurish then that damages the credibility of the site - why should somebody part with their cash for what you call a professional service when your site needs to look more polished? Does your site look just the same as everyone else offering the same service? Does it look templated or based upon a common script or package? Image really is everything.

Also is your site unique & compelling? What are your competitors doing and what are the extremely successful competitors doing?

If you can answer these questions then you'll have a good starting point at which to start turning your site around and keeping visitors, increasing the page views per user, reducing the bounce rate.

Hope that's of some use to you :)

Bounce rate will increase since visitor coming and leaving fast. Real visitor will stay long time and they will purchase something.Bounce rate defends on visitors. You have to target correct area , then only bounce rate will decrease.

Different traffic sources imply different reasons for why visitors might immediately leave your site. Design to keep deep-link followers engaged through additional pageviews.

Best way to measure your bounce rate is to get Google analytics. No one can tell you here specifically why your visitors are leaving and where they are bouncing. If you monitor your visitors on analytics this might give you a clearer picture to what's happening.

    Good luck

By providing relative & user friendly stuff to the user, you can reduce the bounce rate. Sometimes, if you get ranking into some unnecessary keywords. At that time, ur bounce rate will be dropped. I think in future, bounce rate is going to play key role in SEO.

My experience says that if there is something wrong with on page bounce rate increases. That may be wrong content, design issues or something wrong on the page.

Bounce rate will play a major role in future SEO, SE tracks whether the users getting satisfied in the site what they have searched... If they are bouncing back.. then SE notes that the site is not of good content / well maintained for the Search keyword it has sent the user... So you will begin your SERP ranking..... So pay some attention before it affects your SERP. Track your site and find why the users getting bounced....

Bounce back rate is normally due to the following reasons:

    1. If the website design is not good. Users will simply close it.
    2. If the navigation is not user friendly.
    3. Website downloading time is high.
    4. If the content is not relevant to the searched key phrases

Add a video above the fold. Test with auto play on and off and see which works better. Most people will stay to watch the video and therefore reduce your bounce rate.

IMHO, You can do two things to reduce bounce rate on your site

Add a video to your site on the home page.... giving how - to or educational content

Secondly, put links in your sidebar or within content to top quality articles on SEO and benefits of directory submission, etc

People will wait to see the video or even if they don't some of them may want to read something on SEO.... this will help to reduce the bounce rate...

Make the visitors to be in your page rather than bouncing. Know what is your website about and then add new features and make the users more friendly and also they go to other page and other within your website. Attractive alone keeps the visitors inside your website. You shoul provide them what they want.

The bounce rate on a site selling services to a specific niche will be quite high anyway. The bounce rate you should be aiming for it about 65%. I should imagine that the BR for your home page is lower than the prices page, as your main page looks very nice. However, the design on your prices page - fonts etc, look quite cheap. do some redesigning and your BR will drop.

    Good luck.
