How can we optimize a web directory?

    Hi. I've recently opened a web directory website and besides adding the meta tags and the usual h1 and h2 tags, I can't think of any other solution to optimize my website ... because everything else is dynamic :confused:

    Having the URLs SEO friendly. There are a lot of directories that have long URLs that aren't necessarily SEO friendly.

    Other then that, you might consider having some sort of dynamic content that is updated, like a unique RSS feed for each main category, continually refreshing the page and keeping the spiders happy.

    web directory need a promotion get traffic from online users.however it's not like regular article content site types in which need more onpage seo improvement.you can promote your directory to the social networkings and online advertising
