It seems a new system has been put into place as to how threads are organized. For example: In the past I could create a thread for my services and once someone had posted it would return to the first page. This is vital for obtaining new customers. Recently I posted a new thread for my services and despite orders being placed/feedback being left, my thread continues to slide down the pages. I'm not understanding why my thread isn't being bumped to the front page when someone makes an order. So basically, are we supposed to be creating a new thread every week or wait and pray someone actually visits page 28 and lands upon my thread? Also, I already have my settings set to show newest first. I've read the faq's to see if I have missed something so please clarify if you can.
Welcome to last summer. If you set your settings to sort by last post time, you should be good to go and it will work exactly like it did before.
Must have skipped over that setting. Was there a reason behind not having the latest post as the default setting? I'm guessing bump abuse was the reason but that is generally under control in my opinion. It just seems BS&T would be more useful for people who offer services if it was the default setting in that forum at least. * I re-tract my previous opinion somewhat. I noticed how it is now displaying 500+ day old threads with 1/2 posts that people are bumping. Would still be nice for WTS threads to be shown as last post first at least. Thanks for your help.
I read through several pages and couldn't find a clear answer to my precise query. Excuse me for not thoroughly reading through every single thread 100 pages deep. Thank you
