    how can we know that about location of traffic i.e country name in google analytics??

    does google analytics tell about countrywise traffic to a particular website ???

    Are you asking how does Google Analytics do it? Or are you thinking about signing up for it and asking if it does track which country traffic is generated from?

    Click on "Visitors" then "Map Overlay"

    Here you can see the countries from where you got visitors.

    You can even view the cities from whee you got visitors.

    Look for this option " Detail Level: City" and click on "City"
