Not possible.. to increase PR you need to build links..

 

Now, the trick is to re-define your definition of "Link Building". Your real question should be "How do we link build without being too spammy?".

The answer to that is link bait, great content, valuable information, etc. etc. etc.

Don't waste your time creating link bait or link building if the content on the target site isn't valuable or offer something worth value to the end users.

It's not Possible to without link building gets high ranking in google and increasing PR. you want increase PR and top of in Google Ranking then you have doing link building.

 

it's such a hard thing to become strong site without link building. wikipedia, google, yahoo didn't need to build links cause those sites exist like goddamn forever.

i just park on whypark and my PR increase to PR3 on last August 08 ( agency at http://www.triple-a-agency.com ) without any promotion and hard effort in links building.

people who says its impossible to get top in google without page rank, unfortunaley they are wrong this time. you can get the good rank in google if you choose correct keywords and your site structure is 100% accurate. My site appear in google with targetted keywords from last 4 month. my page rank was 0 at that time. ( simpleast way to get high rank just tweaking with keywords steal the keywords from your competetor's site and inject in your site. but it needs 2 month to study)

 

Link building is need to obtain a steady stream of traffic based on keywords through natural search. It takes time.

 

if you dont want to build backlinks the create something strong, people will automatically linkback to u. This is how microsoft, google and other popular sites got valuable.

 

My sites used to get PR without any promotion, or backlinking.
Now I backlink for the traffic and not for PR

The only way to increase your Google PR is by backlink building. Although if you make some highly great articles then people should backlink you without you prompting them.
