    The first thing you need to learn is On-page SEO. Spend a few days researching this through Google.
    Here are a few terms to read up on:
    Keywords
    Site Navigation
    Keyword Density
    Title tag
    H1
    URL (containing keywords)
    Mobile responsive (mobile makes up approximately 50% of online searches now)
    Site/page speed
    CTR (click through rate)
    Time spent on site
    Silo'ing
    Inter-linking (within your own site)
