    You can get backlinks by posting your URL in (do follow) blogs. That's gonna help you with your organic rankings, plus give you some visitors.
    There are lot's of lists of blogs where you can do that here in the forum.

    To get better results from Social Bookmarking, you need a great website with great content. Give them something to want to bookmark. It may also help to add some social bookmarking links throughout your website. Lots of social bookmarking websites also allow you to build networks of friends. By building a bigger network of friends on these sites, you have a better chance of those people also bookmarking your pages.

    Content is king! In order to receive tons of traffic, you need to create unique and interesting topic. Structure of your blog is also a huge factor for returning visitors. In addition, make friends online so that many would bookmark your content. :D
