you need to do proper SEO and then wait for 1 or 2 months. As your website will optimize in search engines more traffiic will be generated. Another option is to do proper link exchange. this will definitely work.

 

Main thing you may need is unique quality content. Beause i'm finding out people wont join unless you do. Need stuff to keep them there and interested. Next you can try off page seo. Write a few articles around 500 words long submit them to sites. Next do forum and blog commenting. Try to keep it related to your niche if possiable. Next do a facebook fan page facebook good way to get likes and eventually people will go to your site. Like other peoples sites that are related to yours if possiable. Main thing is stick with it. Seo both on and off is a never ending learning and doing process. But first step as mentioned above with on page seo makes it easier to rank in serps and pr to get you more organic traffic to your site.

Secondly is to write a killer seo content that ranks well and the article should have a mimnimum words of 1000 period. In order to get google traffic you should write guest post from popular blogs and make sure to linkback to your pillar article of 1000 article words. There are plenty of ways in generating traffic. The best way is i can think of is make something that's absolutely awesome and the give it away for free ( yup that works ). If awesomeness is not your forte, then think about starting a blog ( long tail kwd = traffic). Again this option depends on what your product or service is about since some prods or services are a bit hard to write about. Answer questions at popular q& a sites, and also consider having a contest. You can also leverage social media to get you traffic by building a fanbase around your product and service. my two cents
