How can we attract more customers?

Hello everybody,

we are a German company developing motorcycle suspension and shock absorbers. The Wilbers Products GmbH is very successfull in the German market and, this May, we started our internet website www.wilbers.de/usa to attract American and international customers.

My question: How can we rise in the search engine ranking and what may be wrong with our website as we are attracting people, but only very few actually send inquiries. Is the website too complicated? We are actually running a campaign with Google AdWorks which is providing uns with visitors but, in the long run, we would like our address to rise in the normal ranking as well.
