If you sell something through the DP marketplace, how can buyer/seller leave feedback for each other?

This is one of the first things in the Rules/FAQ, I know because I have just signed up and just read them. Hover over the Marketplace tab at the top of the forum and at the bottom you should see a link saying "Leave Feedback". Very simple. :)

One way to do it would be to leave a positive message on their message board on their profile. This is highly visable and from this others can ascertain that this member is *probably* good to do business with.

With the instant pay system the feedback is automatically given when transaction is completed.

I don't think they paid through the instant pay system, for this reason I don't think feedback can be left on such a transaction?

If it's not done via Instant Pay, correct... you can't leave feedback (mainly because we have no way to even know IF a transaction even took place).

Can somebody explain how to use the Instant Pay system?

Another point is yes someone might be taking advantage of DP not knowing whether an actual transaction took place or not.But it seems awfully harsh to punish those who are doing it honestly and leaving their hard earned feedback with little value.

You click "Use Instant Pay" when creating your sale thread. No one is being punished.

I think you need to make the buyers aware that this is the case and you will not get a feedback unless you use the instant pay. Place a line there while creating the thread maybe. How much commission do the seller and buyer have to pay for using the Instant Pay?

Anywhere you use Instant Pay (inside B/S/T) there is no fees.

Even you not leave feedback, members can see user's financial data like how much he earned or how much he spend if he use "Instant Pay" system.

Is Instant Pay linked to PayPal/MB?

How about informing the buyers to use this system explicitly? I already have a couple of cases where the buyers don't have a clue as to how to leave feedback. Can there be anything done about it now?

Yeah, have been thinking about a way to let people know, but not sure yet. Any ideas?

Why not start a thread in all the sections of the forum where transactions occur informing people and bumping it daily for a week or so?

Lol... You are giving too much credit for user's ability to read I think. :)

Another suggestion I made earlier was to include the line saying "You need to use Instant Pay to leave feedback" somewhere while creating the thread. Preferably near the point where Instant Pay is mentioned.
