Same as people use it in the US. When it comes to tax information, tick "Non US Activities" and Submit. Make sure you use your real name and address. You should have a bank account on the name you have entered in CJ. If your using a foreign bank it is better since they would pay you within 10-15 days. Indian Banks take upto 25-30 days.
Using CJ in India is very easy, follow the steps above and if you have anymore questions or trouble feel free to post here again, dp really is a helpful place.
Don't. All kidding aside, you'll find a lot of companies that auto-decline affiliates from India (including the programs that I help manage). The amount of fraud & crappy applications coming from India was huge, and took up such a disproportionate amount of our time - and in the end, over a number of large programs, sales from India were less than 0.5% of what was coming in. Oh, and on top of that, there was that time when a number of affiliates from India tried scamming one of my advertisers out of $50,000 over two months. If you want to break the stereotype, make sure you're applying with a legit website that you actually own (nobody will believe that you own eBay), and have a solid plan for how you're going to promote the advertisers. Don't hesitate to contact an affiliate manager if you get auto-declined, but you'd better have a good explanation of how/why you want to work with the advertiser if you want to get approved.
