Ok, I have a couple questions...some of you know how I ran across this site, and have been looking over the forums. A lot of this is confusing to me and I have a few questions. And yes, there is a lot of information here, and it is a bit overwhelming. So I'm going to start by just asking some basic questions, please don't make fun of me for my questions. LOL Ok, From what I can see, this site is a place for people to learn how to promote their sites? It also looks like a place to discuss using Google Adsense and being able to make money off of it? (which goes hand in hand with the first question I guess) I have looked over the main site, and yes, I see the products available to use...*gives a blank stare* ... I guess, lets start with these two questions first... Thanks in advance, Scott
From my own experience here, this forum has helped keep me educated in the crazy world of making and operating websites.. I'm not quiet sure what you question is exactly. If your asking should you be a part of this forum, then I would say yes, if you want good info. from educated and nice people.
Is it really our job to tell you how this site will help you? It is yours to decide what will help and what won't, we happen to find these forums and tools useful, maybe you don't, nothing wrong there. But we are not really salesmen (and women) here, we are here as a group of webmasters who come together to help one another, if thats not what your looking for then perhaps you should find a tool better suited to your needs.
If you can't answer the questions I have without insults, then don't post. I think I asked some simple enough questions to start with. I know nothing about this site and am trying to get some information. To the rest of you who might be able to help... I guess I should have mentioned in the first post, but didn't think it was such a big dal, I am new to building a website and getting people to it. I have had a couple message boards, sadly one of those hosted by a free service, but I tried them out and it just didn't go that well. So I'm trying to figure out what can someone do to really drum up visitors. And if I can make money on the side from that same website, then great, I'll do that too.
Ok, so let me ask this, I tested a couple of the features on one of my test message boards, it worked. So I kept going with other features. I ran across the keyword ranking tool. So is this something DP put together that will tell us the most searched keywords? (ps, yes *points at self* total newb on some things)
