How can this ranking be so bad?

    For these two blogs:

    Sachin Tendulkar
    and

    Shahid Afridi

Why are they ranking on the fourth page of google.

I have submitted them to hundreds of directories, got other high pr links for them. And they are being out ranked by forums with one post on each of these players. And other sites that mention their names once in the entire content and aren't even really related to the players.

There is some big problems here. Need some advice.

Blogspots can usually rank quite well, so seems a bit odd looking at your work.

I can see that the players names are mentioned quite heavily on both sites, which could potentially look abit spammy to a search engine.

    How old are the sites?
Do you have links from any of the cricketing forums.
Are you backlinks from cricket related websites or directories.

Here the domain age factor is catching up on you, sites definitely have an edge over blogs, nevertheless what is happening to my best of knowledge is authority sites or sites with good content PR and age when mentions the name of the player the search engines are picking it up as authority site content and ranking it well, u need to wait and be patient

    Yeah..
just the number of back links doesn't make much difference in search engine ranking. Other factors like age of the domain, content, regular updates of the website.. everything counts. Its tough to cheat search engines like google.

Yeah, it takes time to rank a blogspot blog, except if you do KW stuffing it would not be a problem

Keyword stuffing might get you in trouble.

key word stuffing doesn't work so good these days. Artificial Intelligence is being used these days to determine the 'naturalness' of a page. Kew word stuffing can get you negative points.

It looks like he's already done some keyword stuffing and that may be the problem. I see some text with Shahid Afridi repeatedly scattered about in the header part of that blog. I interpret keyword stuffing as anything that doesn't make sense, and having your keywords thrown in there definitely does not make sense to me.

But the blog makes sense. I mention his name as much as is needed. Just like any other cricket site.

What keyword are you using for it? It depends on the keyword as well.

it ranks lower because its a new blog and because you spam the name Shahid Afridi too many times in your header!
Also on the header you mention wallpapers and other words that you do not use in your content.

I can do SEO for you free. PM me for details!

Yeah, new domains / sites usually have some filtering issues.

Yes, but there are ways to use "legitimate" stuffing

Yaa.. I see a lot of sites which looks like they were deliberately stuffed with some key words. They still appear in the first page of google. I think if we can make meaningful passages, key word stuffing would rather help. What do you say?
