How can this happen?

I have a blog and I have put the leaderboard above the fold and a large rectangle at the right hand. Also, I have registered at the Statcounter in order to see my stats. And when I went to the "visitor path" I saw that someone had used the "ads link" twice. Then I went on my google account and there was nothing from $$.

    Do you know why??:(

Used the ad links twice? What do you mean? Some click the links ad twice? Is that what you mean by that?

You need to be very careful trying to track adsense - any possibility that you or somebody asked by you clicked on an ad unit will quickly get your account banned.
Sounds like you have just started out - and it may well take 100 or more visitors before you get a real click and earn some $ from Adsense
I believe Google tracking is the best available - because they are the biggest and that is their core business.
So spend time building your site with quality contanet rather that keep watching when you will earn a few cents

I have a blog where I put a leaderboard (ad unit) above the fold and a large rectangle (ad unit) at the right hand of content. Also, I have registered in Statcounter in order to see the statistics of the blog. Statcounter has a category which is called "Visitor Path" something like that and there you can see which pages the visitors visit on your blog or web page. Furthermore, when a link (ad unit) is clicked then you can see for example: "that someone clicked the leaderboard on homepage". It is obvious. Well, I saw that someone clicked the ad unit leaderboard and when I signed in my google adsense account so as to see what I have earned, I saw nothing 0$. This is what I am asking. If you know something, please share it with me.

    Thank you in advance.

maybe they didn't click on an ad, but just clicked in the bottom right corner where it says "google" to learn about adsense. that would show up on the statcounter but wouldn't make you any money.
