How can localhost pull up site locally, but is noshow on internet?

    Hi All:

    Always a joy to contact you all! Have a spanking new Windows 8 pc with Apache 2.2.25-win32-x86-no_SSL, php 5.4.27 win32 VC9 x86. Can anyone guess why the webserver acts perfectly without errors, but am unable to pull up site on internet off distant pc's? Am using ipv4 setup also. Am also unaware of any limitations on who can pull up my site.

    Need a helping hand,:)

    How do you access the website locally? do you use domain name or IP address? can you telnet the 80 port of your web site from other PC?

    Oh, this was solved thru FAQs. My apologies. Only needed to set inbound and outbound rules for port 80 in Windows firewall! Thanks all.
