How can I work on the layout of Phpbb3 forum without publishing it to my site

    I want to develop a very useful phpbb3 forum with many subforums, how would one go about working on this before it is published to a website.

    Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

    you could add them but set the permissions so no one could see them then add their permissions once its done.. but that would take a long time

    You produce your forum on your local host first then upload it to your server

    Could you explain how I would do this exactly. Local host is my cpanel account? And then I would upload it to my shared hosting?

    And phpbb3 has subforums built in with just the regular free dl off the website right, I don't have buy some better package?
