How can I utilize Internet for getting quality leads or more specifically, which is the best way of online lead generation for B2C & B2B purposes?
You've got several of options: 1. Buy leads from an established source that already collects qualified leads. This will cost you money. I have an insurance salesman friend who uses a 7:1 rule. If he buys a group of leads from someone and they don't result in a 7:1 ROI, he doesn't buy from them again. 2. Co-registration. Again, this costs you money. You pay $X per lead that signs up from someone else's list or web site. 3. Your own lead form. Typically you will tie this to a sequential auto responder (Either your own scripted responder or one of the hosted services). You need to provide some sort of incentive for them to sign up. A free newsletter (that you really do a good job of writing) or other digital product is good. 4. Incentivizing existing leads to give you more leads. 5. Doing a joint venture with someone who already has a list of the types of leads you want. Make sure it's a Win/Win scenario. (I wrote a campaign manager for an existing auto responder, specifically for this type of scenario, because I needed to generate leads, needed follow up etc. but nothing had the level of tracking I wanted.)
