What are the best feature of yahoo site explorer? What data I can access by ading my site to yahoo site explorer?
Its used for checking pages and inbound links (backlinks) of various domains. Useful for lots of things. How spiders are able to find pages of the site, what inbound links you've picked up that are now showing - or to see if the person truly has a PR6 site, or if its just a dropped domain that has had all the links pulled from it. Don't get too attached to it though. Yahoo Site Explorer is supposed to be going away by the end of 2010.
In Yahoo site explorer you can add sitemap files like sitemap.xml, rssfeed.xml and ror.xml The crawler of yahoo indexed your sites pages. Also yahoo explorer shows the backlinks, crawl error if there are.
Correct. But there is talk of a possible "Bing Explorer" of some sort - however, it remains to be seen if it will as be as thorough as Yahoo (it may give very few results similar to how Google does things).
