I want to drive more social traffic to my website from Pinterest. I have an account and some few images, but still no traffic. What better performs on Pinterest. Original content, or a lot of copied content?. How much traffic should I expect?. How many images should I post a day?. Thanks in advance, Farris
Just like with any other social media site you have to have a busy / engaging page. But even then it's not guaranteed you can get traffic you hope to get. I have a pinterest page with 17k followers, not sure I really get anything from it: https://www.pinterest.com/qwikad/
Thanks for the reply. It's a bummer to see that you did not get any traffic, because that's a lot of followers. I visited your website, it looks cool. Can you explain what it's about? Thanks, Farris
It's a marketplace / classifieds to promote whatever. Free and paid. On January 12th it will be 5 years since I started it.
I am working on growing Pinterest now and I feel like I need hundreds / thousands of Pins, but pinterest makes it very easy to pin. I think you HAVE to follow others / such to get follows back, because I don't get action just sitting there. You can add in ADs to your pinterest board once you have a following, but you have to be careful and make it targeted / only a certain amount of posts. For example : a dog memes board with a dog t shirt promotion.
Here's a response I wrote to a similar question on another thread here If you're looking for a more organic way of getting followers/website traffic, instead of using a social tool, here's another response I wrote Hope it helps. Steph
