This thread is for one of my Indian friend who is unable to register in this forum. He requested me to create this thread for him. Please answer his questions below:

    Hello guys,
I am Asif from Lucknow, India. I am doing 3d animations. Recently I got a Client from USA , whom I did a animation job. But I am worried about receiving payment from him. I heared about payal system, But not have any knowledge about it.

I heared that I have to create an online paypal account and can withdraw the money to my bank account. Can you please tell me which bank of India supports paypal and what is the procedure to verify it and do safe transiqtions?

You can open a paypal account at paypal.com and can verify it by using your credit card. And then you can with draw funds to your account by adding your bank account to it. But make sure you with draw INR 7000 or more from your paypal other wise you have to pay INR 50 as a fee.

    I hope this will help:)

Indian paypal accounts cant be verified through bank accounts.

However your friend can make use of VCC's which are easily available these days.

Don't verify with VCC! The end result will that your friend will sit idle making his paypal account being limited.

yes bornmad is right, you can verify your paypal through any VCC and PNB supports electronic transactions. you can relate this PNB account with your paypal or ICICI, HDFC, AXIS, IDBI, Indian Bank too supports it.

you can transfer funds to any bank in india that is part of RBI NEFT network.you just need the IFSC code of the bank.

I personally use SBI to recieve funds from paypal it takes around 2-3 days.
