Facebook as I'm sure you know, has billions, yes billions with a "B", viewers everyday. So the potential to get a lot of viewers / visitors is huge. Remember, Facebook is a Social Media site. So you have to appeal to the "social side" of people. How? Identify or point out a problem, challenge, or need that most everyone has. And then provide the solution.

For instance, if you are promoting a travel service, you could start your post on your FB page with a picture of a beautiful vacation island and the text could read something like, "...everyone needs a vacation but vacations can be expensive! But with My Great Travel Service, you can go on a great vacation for a fraction of the cost..." This is a very elementary example but what do you have here?
    • You pointed out the need (everyone needs a vacation)
    • You pointed out the challenge (vacations can be expensive)
    • You provided a solution (you can go on vacation for a fraction of the cost)
So to summarize, identify what the need, problem, or challenge is. Then identify what can solve this need, problem, or challenge. Then how does your offer satisfy the need, problem, or challenge. Also, using a compelling picture or graphic is really important as well. Lastly, when you write your copy, write it as if you were sitting down with a good friend over a cup of coffee discussing the above in a casual manner. Again, you want to come across as providing a solution instead of trying to sell or push your offer. Hopefully this helps! :D

eMonetize is right. There aren't any other social media sites that have the capability to target and retarget visitors. Great point!

Leveraging your employees on the social network specifically on Facebook is the better way to spread the word about your company. The best way to leverage employees on social media is Employee Advocacy. Employee advocacy is getting more and more popular these days as an effective marketing tool. It is the buzz that your employees generate for your business using their own online presence.
Employees can shout praises of your business as They know your brand better than anyone else and chances are their friends have the same interests and could benefit from what you have to offer.
Getting employees to share content is difficult, but with platforms such as SocioAdvocacy, you can encourage employees with gratification so that they will share the content more frequently.
