How can i track links to an old domain?

    I'm going to redirect olddomain.com to newdomain.com with a 301.

    will i be able to see in my analytics (new domain.com) info about people linking to olddomain.com? or will i just see "traffic source = olddomain.com"

    i want to see "traffic source = website linking to olddomain.com

    is this possible?

    No, you can't see the analytics of olddomain. You can ask user to wait for 10 seconds and redirect the website to new domain. Don't forgot to install analytics on old domain.

    paste your Analytic code on your old domain page,
    than you got it
