how can i tell which ads where clicked

not which ads by location ie located on the site but which type of ads (ie, dating ads, or mobile phone ads, or donkey riding ads)

i have some clicks getting 10c a click or less,

i have some click giving up to $1.20 a click.

i would like to know what type of ads these are. (the $1.20 ones ;) )

i see the ads and rate in the adsense Performance Reports, but they dont say which type of catergory the ads are from , or what that person searched to get to that page.

i searched all over the adsense interface, even the new style.

any help appreicated. thanks in advance.

statcounter is analytics tool but I think it's not able to show the particular ads type.

Using the new Adsense interface (the one with /v3/ in the URL) click the "Allow and block adds" tab.
On the left there's a sidebar, in the sidebar there's a section labeled "Blocking Options".
In "Blocking Options" you'll find "General Categories" and "Sensitive Categories", clicking either of them will give you a report that shows the percentage of ad impressions, and the percentage of revenue, that each category of ads has generated for you.

^^ WOW that is pretty cool. exactly, well near enough to point me in the right direction to what catergory the are making the most money.

a big thanks joebert ;) and thanks everyone who tried to help.

edit: ive gone in and blocked all the 0 percenter ads usless junk taking 4.5% of displays and paying 0$ get rid of those everyone you will earn much more as that 4.5% would maybe go to more paying ads!

interesting, how would one do that, you mean outside of adsense, or is there a way inside adsense?
