How can I tell if Yahoo has penalized me?

    I had a problem with someone copying my entire website word for word about 3 weeks ago and Yahoo dropped a bunch of my pages. Even though the other site has been down, i am not seeing these pages get reindexed. Is there a way to see if yahoo has penalized me?

    The number of pages indexed should tell you.

    The number of pages went from 20 or so to 4. I don't mean banned, I mean just penalized. I am sure the pages got dropped due to duplicate content, but now that the other site is down, I figured they would re-index my pages. Its not happening.

    Give it some time.
    If the other site has gone forever, I am sure Yahoo will remove the duplicate content penalty.
