How can I tell If I submitted my site to DMOZ?

I just built my first website, and I submitted my site to a bunch of directories, I didn't even know what DMOZ was at the time, or it's possible significance to my site. Now I am a little better informed. I've heard that you should submit only once... but for the life of me, I can't tell If I have submitted. I don't see any e-mail confirmation... Is there a way to tell?

No way to tell.. if you are not sure, just go ahead and do it again... better to make sure you did, than to have never done it at all :)

Two listing suggestions to the same category won't get you branded as a spammer.

How can you say that they are correct when you don't even know if it's a paid or free directory?

Does not really matter I reckon, as that is actually thread hijacking.

Jim is correct again :D It sure is nice to have him around.

Though, to the OP, not suggesting a link often has the same wait time as suggesting one (twice). Editors are not required to even look at the submission queue so whether you've submitted once or one hundred times it may never ever get looked at. Some editors even look deeper into submitted sites then they do sites they have found on their own, meaning you may actually have better luck NOT submitting in some cases. So just move on... Eventually an editor will stumble upon your site, or not ;)
