How Can I Tell if I have ADD?

I have recently noticed a lot of symptoms of ADD: Random moments of anxiety, can't focus on one task, mind is always racing, can't sit still, etc... These aren't new symptoms, but I never put everything together to assume I may have ADD. Does anybody else suffer from this, and could give me pointers to see if I may have this?

I have set up an appointment to be checked in a few weeks, but it's really worrying me so I am a bit concerned

I'm not even sure if ADD can be physically tested. If you go to the doctor and tell them that then they will probably just say you have it because it sounds like it.

There's a few other things that I've noticed about people with a.d.d
I've noticed that in their personality they are very competitive and hyper.

Do you get jealous fast at anyone who has a great girlfriend or makes good money?
Do you talk fast, think fast, jump into things?

There isn't a real drug that helps ADD. They usually just throw you a calming pill which just makes your body more tired, in which controls you behavior jumping. If it doesn't negatively effect your life then don't take the pills.

I am not aware of what add is... but the symptoms you have listed are found in majority of the people nowadays... simply because life has become very competitive.

Instead of relying on drugs and pills, it is better to calm your mind through meditation and Yoga and try to live a peaceful life! :)

Read a long post on DP, see if you find yourself getting distracted in the middle of it.

    Never heard of it.
But, from the symptoms you mentioned, it's normal for today's fast living. Tensions are everywhere.. in office, in home.

I'd suggest you to take a leave for a few days and go on a travel somewhere you like.

If you are serious about getting rid of the anxiety symptoms etc then you can start by changing your avatar. The simpsons guy looks really messed up exactly like you.

Truly to be accurate, you need to be diagnosed professionally by a doctor
