How can I tell if I can enlarge?

Sorry about the title, not sure how to word it. But I have a logo for my site and I was thinking about getting some stuff printed at like metacafe or somewhere else with it but I am not sure how big I could go with my graphic before it starts to look real bad. Here is the image I have (by the way, what do you think of it?)

Was thinking of a mouse pad and perhaps a shirt and latter on some other stuff. But like I said I do not want to pay for a shirt and get something back that is all pixelated and looks like something I would just turn into a dish rag.

    Thanks for your time.

Most "camera ready" stuff used in the printing business is proofed at 1200dpi. The second rule is that it is very hard to enlarge even a 1200dpi image and maitain the quality. You can always shrink them to any size you want.

Now if you have the vector image for your logo you should be able to print it at about any size.

You might ask them. They may have a magic trick I am not aware of or maybe they redo the logo for a small charge.

how was this logo designed? A proper logo is designed as a vector, so you can scale it up to whatever size you want. Do you have an Adobe illustrator, PDF, EPS or SVG version of your logo?

With vector graphic (as all logos should be) there is no pixellization at any size.

No, I only have the jpeg version of it. But maybe I will just get it redone by someone here. By the way what do you people think of it? The "of the" part has sorta bothered me a little (very little). Do you think anyone would have a problem reading it as "www.journeyoftheanimals.com" and not read it as "www.journeyanimals.com" since that is not right. When / if I get it redone I will be sure to get the vector version of it. Thank you for your input.
