Dmoz has been down awhile (over a month), that's just a backup they're running. They don't approve anyone anyway, so don't waste your time.

Never. Who knows when they'll be back up. It's a waste of time. Why would they approve you?

Are you talking about the submain in your sig?
Is that the site in question?
If so dmoz will never add a subdomain.

Oh yea submiting to dmoz is not a waist of time.
Its a very important backlink to have.
I have three sites listed at dmoz.
My average wait was 6 months.
If you go by their rules they will add it.
Remember its volunteers running that directory.

In what world do you live in? The majority of editors that matter are working with DMOZ as part of their profession.

Sorry, you're a linkbuilding and SEO "expert" and you have no clue about DMOZ? Remind me not to use your services. Expert implies a degree of detailed knowledge of such things.

Your area of interest is one that is extremely oversubscribed when it comes to DMOZ submissions. And one that few editors are interested in adding new sites to. Submit but it is likely to take many many years to get a review. In the meantime employ some of your expertise to promote yourself in other ways. ;)

I'm sure that's the first place every editor is going to start with (cough, cough) :p
