Hi everyone, I have noticed a continual drop in my adsense earnings since last month. I am confused on what I should do to arrest the ugly situation. Are there any DP memebers with the same problem and what did you to increase the earnings? please be explicit

First of all see whether the traffic is also decreasing or not..if traffic is not decreasing but only the earnings are decreasing then change the outlook of the ads...the color size etc and blend it with the content..
more are the clicks more is the earning...

Also check whether you are not smart priced

Try to Place your adsense code between the content.

make sure your number of clicks are same..
if yes, then you are smartpriced, if not, then try to get more traffic.

I've been experiencing the same problem. The traffic is the same but the no. of clicks have reduced, may be coz of the recent click zone changes :(

Traffic is the key mate. Increase your traffic, make sure your ads are optimized well, etc.

If traffic is same as before, then the most possible reason is the Google's change (reduction) in clickable area of advertisement.

Traffic has gone up, but my CPC and CTR have both gone down. It's been testing my patience. Luckily, though, my affiliate sales have gone up.

google has to pay the contract guys out first, then the rest of the earnings go to the individual publishers. it's a stock holder issue. the US dollar is going down.

Well, I had a problem too, but you have chanel right? try to track which chanel you get high CPM and Low. now, you can go to the low chanel and click back and ford of that page to see which text or image ads reveal most in that page of 10 or even 20 times clicks. you click on the page. and if you spot one Just go to your adsense account and ban its url. you will notice you earn more and better. I have a problem with my magazine page in my site and I click back and for. like 30 times I saw one or two show the most, I started to kill it from my page and now, I earn atleast 15 cents a click. and i am still tracking it, if any chanel start to get low, I start to spot and ban those sh*t out. That the way I do.

interesting article, seems more like Google wants a larger piece of the pie and is increasingly trying to take a larger cut from both the advertiser and publisher. The duty of an advert leading to a sale or converting is the advertisers responsibility, not the publishers.

Keep on experimenting changing colors, ad placement etc.. That's the only way to know what is working in your favor..

    Same here.
Clicks a bit have decreased. Not a lot of clicks are decreased but earning a lot has decreased.
