How can I start a company in India?

I have a lot of business ideas. I have read lot of business books and I feel I am prepared to run a successful profitable company. But I am not able to get enough information about legal formalities on starting a company. What is the equivalent of a LLC and Incorporation in India? Whom should I approach? How much does it cost for the paper work? What things should I outsource and what should I work on?

Indians, if you have walked on this path, let me follow you...
