How can I split up the profits?

Hi, I currently run 10 websites/blogs by myself. For each website, I run Adsense, Amazon Affiliates and ClickBank. I have plans to start-up more websites, and I have found a partner that will help me expand. I am thinking of giving him a 50-50 cut for each new site I set-up and he will run it. Does anyone know if I can set-up separate Adsense, amazon and clickbank affiliate links..so I can easly track how much the new sites are generating?
currently my 10 sites are all on the same ID..now if i bring in partners, I will need new affiliate ID's...is this going to be a problem? any ideas?

You can easily do this in many ways:

Client Side: Javascript - use a random type funciton.
Server Side: PHP's rand() can do it.
    Proper Server Side: phpAdsNew.

With channels there's still one person getting the money. That can still cause a headache.

unfortunately I do not want to set-up different channels because I am not that technical...can't I just use brand new affiliate ID's?

Yes, but you still need to rotate them, unless you are going to hard code them which will be far from 50/50.

Thanks for the response. I don't quite understand. My partner will not work with me on my exisiting sites...only on one new site. So every single penny we make will just be split 50-50. Am I allowed to have multiple Adsense accounts?

He needs an account, you need an account. Your sites, or just the ones you want to share the revenue, picks randomly your pub-id or his pub-iud. As simple as that.

I have a question about this issue as well. As far as taxes are concerned, how does that work out? If for instance, I am giving 50% of profits to a partner but 100% of the check goes out to me, then I will have to pay taxes on the full amount even though I am giving away half pretax?

The solution suggested here means that the script makes the revenue split evenly between the partners - and then each will do their own taxes.

Yes, each will receive money in their own account and no you can't have an AdSense account for each site. Only one account per entity is allowed. An entity is a unique person or a unique company.

You can always set up channels to track the new sites and then share the all revenues generated half and half. If your partner is going to run the sites, wouldn't he be better of running the sites himself and keeping all the revenues to himself, or are you going to be doing the content of the side or something?

If you are getting a big revenue you can start your own company and you both may be the partners of that and share the income. And you can apply for a another adsense id for business.

IMO, you need a script which will rotate the ads..
like T0P said, PhpAdsNew may be a solution.

My advice would be to start up a new company and sign up for accounts with that new company. I have a few reasons for this:

    1) Rotating ads, like some people have suggested will not split the revenue exactly 50/50. With AdSense it will be pretty close, but with higher ticket items like ClickBank, you could see differences that may not make one partner very happy.
    2) As others have pointed out if you have one account and then pay the other person, you can get dinged by taxes.
    3) Having a "general partnership" is always bad news for liability reasons. If your partner does something wrong, you will still be responsible for it.
