Hello, I have created a partnership with a PR firm and the firm wants me to pull XML (or I can do plain text) feeds off of their server and place them directly onto my webpage. They have setup a feed server w/ user/pass and told me to "write an application" to do this. Does anyone have any experience with this, or know where I would start? The site that I will be placing the feeds is a Joomla site. Thanks in advance.
I know how to take the rss feeds and turn into java script so you can place them on your site.... If thats what you want try www.myrsssource.com
Okay. How can I take feeds off of a sever directly and have them placed onto my site? Is there a simple way to do this?
You are using joomla? There are dozens of plugins that do this, just go to the joomla extensions page and search RSS. http://extensions.joomla.org/component/option,com_mtree/task,viewlink/link_id,394/Itemid,35/ or use simplepie
Yes, Joomla. Do those take feeds off of a server and will put them onto the page? And is it possible to have all feeds after a certain period be archived onto the site?
