How can i set up a small business on SEO??

Hi,
I'm Sanjay Singh Bisht, & I want to set up my own business on internet marketing. Presently i'm working with a SEO company from last 6 months, now i'm interested in starting small scale software company, so suggest me what to do..?
From where i can start the same, means projects etc.??

first you need to have contacts with various people who can give you their software projects to work on...& as you are working with an seo company then definitely you would be having contacts with clients so i dont think it would be a big problem for you..

 

thanks for reply. but i'm working under a team leader, he assigns me new project, so l dont have any client's links, thats why i'm asking, from where i can contact with others., this one is the problem that i've to handle but i want some way where i can go..

I will suggest you to take more experience.

 

There is various bidding sites available like , guru.com, freelancer.com etc. If you have much time for bidding, you can get some projects from there.

I agree. If you have enough SEO knowledge to start a business doing it, then you have an obvious way to bring in clients. Nobody is going to hand you a list of their clients to contact and you should probably make sure you didn't sign any contracts that forbid you to do SEO work for x amount of time with x miles of your current city after you leave your company.

 

You have only 6 months experience and you are thinking to open a company, i think it is not right time to open the same, try get more experience then work out on this idea.

 

I would say if you are good at seo .then create your own website targetting customers for perticuler domain ( Ex: restaurant website development and seo ) . As people search on google, and if they find your listing , they will definetly come to you.
I dont trust any one as seo expert untill he owns a site at top of google for a given keyword.

 

When starting a new small business, you should be sure that you have the necessary skills and experience.

 

There are couple of freelancing sites.you simply get registered there and bid for the project.slowly and gradually you can set a business if you get few clients.

Well I have the same idea without working in another company just working to me, well I build a Seo Web site offering my packages and now I am doing seo in some pages that I will give to my clients that my work is good why don't you do this, but I'm having problems to find the right people that would work in my company, you have to be smart ! good luck
