    Minimum:

    PHP 4.3.3
    MySQL 4.0.16

    Recommended:

    PHP 5.2.5 or later
    APC or similar PHP cache
    MySQL 5.0.51 or later

    Operating Systems
    » Solaris
    » Linux
    » BSD
    » Windows™
    » Mac

That was quoted directly from the vbulletin system requirements on their website. Well, that is, if I get it what you want correctly.

CentOS would be my OS of choice.

Check this tutorial out on how to setup the server - http://www.howtoforge.com/perfect-server-centos-5.2.

You do not need to setup ispconfig but it is a decent free control panel, and can really help administer the server if you don't have experience doing so already.

The initial setup is done by most of the hosts. You should have asked. You may just need to add control panel and add the alias.

I love Lxadmin. Bad that many stopped allowing it to install on servers after the tragedy. It wasn't the mistake of Lxadmin coding.
Cpanel is good but eats up resources and is costly. DirectAdmin is good alternative to cpanel. both are paid.
Webmin is free but interface is not very friendly. You can do everything what cpanel and directadmin does but you need to get used to interface.

Please don't used pirated scripts. It just hurts. And in the long run they'll surely catch you. If you can't buy Control Panel just use webmin or VHCS. They are free.

It's there. You just need to be good in finding warez. I mostly use warez to test and review.

    my advice is:
if your dedicated server is provided by a hosting company, go for plesk if it is offered. the charge for up to 10 domains is very low. cpanel has a flat rate which is higher.

if you are not planing to use a control panel, ubuntu server edition os is very good. i run a wordpress webpage in my home server without caching service and i am very satisfied.

I dont think you can find a nulled cPanel as its not possible. Go with one of the free CP's.

Doesn't exist, cPanel has a unique way of "licensing" and even if you find something called "nulled" it really isn't. cPanel is one of the few scripts that did it right and doesn't need nulled anyways cause it's cheap enough from most hosts anyways. If you can't affford it, Direct Admin is the way to go or a free one as others suggested. They vary slightly and shouldn't be too much of a hassle as long as your site runs ;)

Easiest thing for you to do is to install Kloxo. That installs the cpanel Kloxo, php, mysql, mail apps, everything you need to start your server off.

Kloxo is the best control panel out there for beginners that is free (in my opinion)

Kloxo includes both apache and lighttpd. It has everything you need to use your server as a web server
