how can i send or get payment on the internet i am from india i mean which type of account should i open and where

Well, its simple ! You just need a savings account in any of the Nationalized bank of India !

And then open a personal account in PayPal. People will pay you on PayPal and you can transfer your money from PayPal to your Bank account !

I will say PayPal is the best ! So, go for it !

Why not create a premier account??
I think If he runs a business and use Paypal to receive payments, he had better use premier/business account

 

add your bank to your paypal account.
get money in paypal and den transfer it into your bank..!!

actually i opened a paypal account just a couple of hours ago but i want to know how can i link my icici bank account to paypal and also how can i verified it i have only a debit card.

 

You will find a option "ADD BANK ACCOUNT" in your PayPal account.. There you can add your bank account !

And to verify you can't do it with your Debit card. You need a valid Credit card to do so !

Yup,You are right..But it depends on the country.....I hold by what DON says.

 

I guess for Indian people, paypal is good enough since we have enough priviledges like direct withdrawal to the bank account. The only thing is we need a real credit card issued by a bank itself to verify our paypal account

 

first of all thanks to all of you for making me understand about paypal.But i have one more question why paypal account need to be verified.Is there any problem if i don't verifie it with credit card

and moneybookers for folks outside US in country's unsupported(pakistan i think is unsupported, for example)

 

It is ok but you'll be facing some limited use of your paypal account such as limited amount of withdraw.
