How can I send e-mails without being considered a spammer?

    I think I may try it. It is nothing like mass mailing. I will be sending individual, unique messages to people I think would be interested. And it is not blatant advertising, I will mention the project and politely ask if they are interested.

    I will see. The direct mail option maybe beneficial as well.

    Don't just mail people who have not requested information from you, that is spam.

    Consider using a third party mailing system like emailaces.com or aweber.com

    John you posted a lot here, but it seems like you did not even take a look at the website. It is a US tour and I am looking for 39 sponsors for each city, so the option you kept mentioning here does not work at all for it. Everything will be personal and unique to that specific person, no mass mailing and definitely no follow up messages if I receive no reply.

    It is an online/outdoor advertising project. I will be reading more about what is Spam and what is not before taking any steps. I have got mixed opinions here.
