You would be hard pressed to find any mail provider that will allow you to send out 1 million emails, even the best autoresponders would not allow you to email 1 million people at one time, they would have to re-subscribe to your mailing list and most will not.
The IP address of any host that allows you to send that many emails in one time (or even a fraction of that) will be blacklisted pretty quickly, and no host wants that

 

what about using services like this company: http://www.massmailservers.net ? Or is it better to use a bulk mailer software?

 

I use a program on my server called Subscribe me enterprise. It works like a charm, but my mailing list is around 50,000 addresses. It would still work if your list is 1,000,000, but I recommend a delay between packets so your IP isn't flagged for spam.

built yourself?

If this is something you brought then I wouldn't recommend emailing them because
it will be considered spam. Your ISP can shut your down and you can be Blacklisted.

Its just not worth it.
