    1) Type "sitename.com" into Google (with quotes)
    2) check The Wayback Machine at www.archive.org for past versions of the site
    3) check at alexa.org for past traffic

Ya archive wayback machine shows previous versions of the desired domain...

If there's previous content and domain is available for handreg, then it means it was dropped.

BTW Ronitdeep, what problems with indexing? I'm buying expired domains often and I have no problem with indexing. If domain was expired, then google crawler didn't go there often so you might need to wait few more days.

Best way to get indexed is when google crawles other websites that links to your domains, that way, google will index you fast.

BTW I've made perfect tool to find expired domains with traffic and VALID pagerank, VALID pagerank checker and RSS feed submission. :)

Feel free to visit dropsdomains.com :)

hello thanks for your kind answers...

well i had bought this 2 domains..
    adsenseblog.info
    mesotheliomatumor.info

but google was not indexing it even after 1 month..
it had fresh 1k backlinks(some from high pr)
site map submitted to google webmaster

but after some time i doubted & checked its archive data..
    http://web.archive.org/web/*/http://adsenseblog.info

so i suspect it is dropped..

I wanna buy the same kind of domain...
it was used previously ..should i buy it or not?
