What is the process, if I want to see someone other's profile directly if I know its username.

    Thanks
    Regards

I know the username for example 'digitalpoint'
I want to see its profile, how can I do that, if I am in user CP currently.

Or even if you write the username in Google, you will get him/her ! Like this - "Cameljourney, Digitalpoint"

And you will get that user on 1st page of Google ! :D

This way I know, But in this way, I will find the post/thread started by that person, then open the post and then click on its name.

What is the the direct method?
I think that this feature is nowhere in the forum and it should be made available.

See my name to the left of my post? click it and a menu will pop up. Choose the view profile option.

Also, you must be logged into Digital Point before you can see profiles (something new).

Here, people are thinking that I am a dumb.

No one read the thread properly. People are saying to click on the name, I am asking, I am in my CP, I know the username, the profile of which I want to see.

Where you pop up will appear? :D

To the best of my knowledge it can not be done in a single click.

If you go to their itrader, you will find a link View full profile for xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx which will take you to their profile

I know what you mean, you mean like somewhere you can just type in a username and it will take you to their profile - as far as I know this isn't available but it would be helpful.

We used to have a members list here so you could do that, but remember all the database problems that we had too? If given the choice, I would much rather have a forum that works than have a searchable members list. ;)

Search via google but include this with the search:

    inurl:forums.digitalpoint.com/member.php

Works for me since I was concerned about if I had created the 'drmike' account a long time ago and would hate to have a dupe but that's not me.

    Hope this helps,

*cough* Read up a post or two and try the method I suggested. Worked for me. Even gave an example of the user I was looking for.
